Kingdom House

The Kingdom House is Kingdom Housing Association's advanced vision of energy efficiency within the modern home, designed by Oliver & Robb Architects and built to Passive House standards by Campion Homes.
The design includes solar panels, PV Cells, air source heat pumps, mechanical ventilation and heat recovery units, complimented by a high quality facade system and highly effective external joinery solution by NorDan. The combined effort and quality of each housing aspect produced a house with a negligible carbon footprint. Graeme Milne, NorDan's Regional Sales Manager for the area commented on the success of the project, "It was the close working relationships between NorDan, Scotframe, Campion and Kingdom that made the project work"
NorDan's NTech 0.7 range was used in the construction providing an industry leading whole window U-value as low as 0.7 W/m2K.
What's more, the three handled tilt & turn window has seven heavy duty locking points and is Secured by Design certified giving the home owner true peace of mind regarding security. This, together with full PEFC chain of custody accreditation, makes the window one of the safest, securest and sustainable on the market today.
