All in one Place With New NorDan Brochure

For the first time, the new NorDan Collection brochure features all the company’s manufactured high performance timber and aluminium-clad timber windows and doors in one place, including the industry-leading energy-efficient NTech Passive range.

The new NTech Passive (U-value: 0.7W/m²K) and NTech Low Energy (1.2 W/m²K) ranges featured in the new brochure have set new standards in thermal performance with exceptionally low U-values. This was achieved by NorDan’s development of a highly-efficient, environmentally-friendly insulation board, combined with high performance glazing and new warm edge technology with a much lower thermal conductivity. A further development was the removal of the trickle vent on the NTech range in line with Passivhaus recommendations.

The new brochure has further details on the NTech Passive, NTech Low Energy, NorDan standard, and traditional Villa ranges as well as NorDan’s other double and triple-glazed units, the popular one- and three-handle tilt and turn security windows, sash and case look-alike windows, multi-sash and combination windows, fully reversible windows and fixed lights.

The new Collection brochure, also features NorDan’s door ranges, from single and double sliding doorsets with aluminium clad options to balcony security doorsets. These are designed for use on balconies, back doors or outhouses and are available as single or double doorsets, with inward or outward opening options. There is also information on NorDan’s stylish range of entrance doorsets.

Architects and specifiers can also check glazing options in the new brochure, with information on glass energy saving, light/heat and solar gain, sound reduction, obscure glazing and safety and security glass. There is also information on mullions, transoms and ironmongery, aluminium cladding and factory pre-finish options on windows and doors.

In addition, the brochure features a section on NorDan’s academic research into a product’s whole life-cycle energy usage and embodied energy, particularly useful for architects and specifiers to make a more informed choice when working on a project.

NorDan’s window and doors products are certified PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) which ensures timber comes from sustainably-managed forests.
