NorDan offers secure specialist supply and fit service

NorDan, the leading supplier of high performance environmentally friendly doors and windows, has a dedicated design, manufacture and install team that’s striking a chord with developers and specifiers nationwide, as the start-to-finish service reduces reliance on installation subcontractors.

NorDan’s partnering approach provides a full in-house design, manufacture and installation service to its customers, with the in-house Specialist Contractors team taking on any risks associated with ‘supply and fit’ by managing a project from initial enquiry to final handover. The service offers technical support, budgeting, tendering support, project design, manufacture and installation, providing a complete outsourced service.

In addition, the team is often called upon to give expert advice on how to achieve the optimum solution to the demands for increasingly higher performance building standards and regulations.  This means not only complying with appropriate British and European standards and advising on Construction (Design & Management) Regulations, but also translating design concepts into detailed working plans to give building designers the greatest possible degree of freedom and flexibility.

For project design, NorDan’s in-house draughtsmen will liaise with design teams and other specialists, if required, to produce manufacturing drawings with buildable fixing details.  And as would be expected from NorDan, the manufacture is to the highest standard with a disciplined supply chain and quality management to make sure products are delivered on site as programmed.
