For ventilation, the two side handles can be easily opened, allowing the sash to tilt approximately 100mm. For cleaning, the sash opens into the turn position by firstly opening the side handle and then the bottom handle. The sash opens inwards (opening approximately 67o from the frame) to allow easy access to the external glass. The cleaning position can also be used for emergency escape depending on size and location.
Ironmongery The seven locking points ensure that the sash is tightly closed against the gasket, making the window both secure and extremely weathertight.
Restrictors A metal restrictor stay is standard and fitted adjacent to the side handle. An alternative high density polymer child restrictor is available to order.
Optional aluminium cladding Aluminium cladding is optionally available for the three handle tilt and turn window. Powder coating available from the classic RAL colour range. Aluminium cladding increases the lifespan of the window and also greatly reduces maintenance costs.
Trickle vent The optional adjustable trickle vent is positioned at the head of the frame to ensure good air circulation within the room. Being independent of the sash, it can operate even when the window is securely closed. NorDan’s integral ventilation system means there is no unsightly external vent hood.
