The bottom hung window is easily opened by turning both side handles. The sash opens and is held in place by the restrictor. For cleaning the outside of the glass, the restrictor can be dis-engaged and the sash gently lowered to the fully open position.
Ironmongery The bottom hung window comprises of two separate espagnolettes; one each side of the sash with each handle centrally positioned. The espagnolettes each provide two locking points.
Optional aluminium cladding Aluminium cladding is optionally available. Powder coating available from the classic RAL colour range. Aluminium cladding increases the lifespan of the window and also greatly reduces maintenance costs.
Trickle vent The optional adjustable trickle vent is positioned at the head of the frame to ensure good air circulation within the room. Being independent of the sash, it can operate even when the window is securely closed. NorDan’s integral ventilation system means there is no unsightly external vent hood.
