are manufactured in Norway by NorDan AS. The company was founded over
75 years ago in 1926 by Johannes Rasmussen, grandfather of the current
managing director, Tore Rasmussen (to find out more, see NorDan's
history).
NorDan is a leading window manufacturer in Europe and one of the most
financially stable in the industry. NorDan windows and doors are mainly
exported to Sweden, Ireland, Denmark, Germany, Russia, Holland and
the UK, countries that often suffer from harsh weather conditions.
NorDan
have
established
a unique reputation amongst architects and specifiers in the UK for
their exceptional quality, real value for money and active participation
in the building industry. Annual sales currently being achieved are
in excess of £75m.
Production and price
NorDan AS' factories are able to produce 1500 windows/doors per day,
demonstrating the company's capacity to be a major world exporter.
With five large factories, a workforce in excess of 850 and
computer
controlled
production
lines, the company manufactures in volumes sufficient
to cope with the largest projects whilst still remaining competitive.
Research and development
A policy of continuous research and development ensures NorDan products
are always in the forefront of technology; for safety, security and
longevity. Regular assessment under ISO9001 guarantees the quality
of each product.

NorDan products are not only exceptionally user friendly, but also

from top quality Nordic pine (sourced from well-managed
forests) which is widely recognised as being
