Standard main door features:

• The door leaf cannot be lifted off the hinges when closed and locked
• The heavy duty locking espagnolette incorporates metal hooks top and bottom and a throw bolt in the centre
• Insulated panels (where provided) are 48mm thick with a U-value of 0.6W/m²-K

Note: Doors requiring pine veneer panels are optional and not standard.

Available as inward or outward opening. Outward opening should be chosen if you want the very best in weather performance. NorDan also provide options on special sound reduction glass and panelling for external doors, to complement the excellent performance offered by all NorDan windows.

French door sets
French doors, made to the same specification, are available in either inward or outward opening versions.

Versatile
A variety of transoms, mullions and panels are available to afford flexibility in the appearance of the door. In common with all NorDan products, main and balcony doors are also available aluminium clad.

NorDan recommends outward opening doors should be protected by a canopy to improve weather performance and avoid damage to both the door head and wind brake mechanisms, if optionally supplied.
