  Environmental declaration
Image: Norway's beautiful coastline and fjords are unaffected by NorDan's manufacturing processes

NorDan's main factory in Moi, Norway has produced an environmental declaration leaflet (see below) detailing the environmental impact of their production processes.

Environmental declaration (pdf document 83.6KB)

Hydro-electricity
Norway's advanced energy production uses the potential energy stored within their numerous lakes and rivers. This makes hydro-electric power one of the most environmentally friendly and least harmful to the environment. It contributes 0% towards global warming.

As the NorDan environmental declaration states; more than 99% of the energy consumed by the main factory at Moi is generated by hydro-electric means.
