Cleaning

With inward opening windows, it is easy to clean the outside of your glass from inside your own home with the risk of accidentally falling out of the window greatly reduced.

Child safety
NorDan produce windows with consideration towards child safety. This is particularly critical in first floor locations and high-rise homes. This is accomplished by means of in-built safety devices which are 'toddler proof' but, at the same time, can easily be over-ridden in case of emergency escape. The safety and security is also enhanced by the use of laminated glass in critical areas, as described in BS6262.

Restrictors
NorDan have a range of restrictors to meet special requirements. Please ask for further details.

Window handles
NorDan 3 handle tilt and turn windows are especially safe for rooms occupied by children and toddlers; the bottom handle can be removed so that the window can only be opened in the safe tilt position. For extra safety and security, NorDan offer a range of locking handles. Please ask for further details.
