As one door closes another one opens – NTech door to replace Bor
For 10 years NorDan have been proudly manufacturing and supplying the UK market with a range of external entrance doors from Bor, in Sweden. In the UK market this product range has been supplied under the name BorDorren.
Over the past 2 years a number of factors have influenced the NorDan strategy on external entrance doors. This included the launch of a brand new product, just over a year ago, called the NTech Security Entrance door. This product is manufactured in our new state of the art NorDan factory in Powodowo, Poland.
The NTech Security Entrance door has all the attributes of NorDan’s well established composite entrance doorset – the strength to resist forced entry and the robustness to cope with extreme weather.
The NTech Security Entrance Doorset combines NorDan’s 90 years of manufacturing experience, with Norwegian integrity and NorDan’s fine reputation for innovation. Products from Powodowo are designed and produced with key commitments – to customer satisfaction, elimination of defects, environmental awareness, “Genuine certification”, user friendliness and great technical support.
The energy and investment in the new Powodowo factory, along with the already immediate success of the NTech Security Entrance door, are just a couple of reasons why NorDan have taken the strategic decision to exit the BorDorren entrance door from the UK market.
Quotations for new BorDorren products will cease with immediate effect and the NorDan sales force will now promote and quote the NTech Security Entrance door range where similar styles exist. It should be noted that the warranty of the BorDorren range will remain as current i.e. BorDorren will still be producing for the Scandinavian market and will continue to service any warranty claims in conjunction with NorDan UK.
At present there are 7 styles to choose from in the NTech range. However, with this product range now being the sole external entrance door product to the UK market, NorDan will continue to focus on the development of the NTech range and our future strategic portfolio.
