This outward opening window
turns through 180°, bringing the outside glass to
the inside for cleaning.
It is ideal in situations where an inward opening window is impractical.
Efficient safety device
The initial opening of an HG window is restricted to approximately
100mm as a basic child safety measure and is the normal position
for natural ventilation. The sash cannot be turned further until
the safety device is released, allowing
the
sash to
swing smoothly through 180°.
At this point, the restrictor will automatically engage again to
provide a safe cleaning position.
Superb balance
The ironmongery is made from high quality steel and is both zinc plated
and coated to withstand corrosion from even the most severe weather
conditions. In addition to the standard gold colour, the hinges
are available in polyester powder coating to order, in any RAL colour,
to match the window finish of your choice, for a small additional
cost.
Night vent position
By opening the sash approximately 10-15mm, then closing the handle,
a limited ventilation (night vent) position is achieved.
